1) Wednesday, January 22nd, 12:05pm Montana Moves and Montana Meals 2014 Challenges!

Every month in 2014 you have an opportunity to participate in the Montana Moves and Montana Meals Challenge of the Month. The MUS Wellness Team will be revealing our monthly challenges for 2014, plus some of the prizes that go along with each challenge. This webinar will allow you to get the jump on all of our challenge opportunities this year, pick your favorites, and prepare in advance if necessary. Why participate? Because you might:

2) Tuesday, February 25th, 12:05pm MUS Wellness Program Overview

According to our Fall 2013 Wellness Survey, only around 1 in 5 MUS employees knows about the majority of programs and opportunities offered to them through Wellness and MUS Benefits. You can’t take advantage of something if you don’t know it exists. Also, there have been many changes and upgrades to our programs in the past months, and many more on the horizon. We want you to know about all of them! Therefore, this will be an educational webinar for you to learn about all of our current programs, and what you can expect in 2014 and beyond from MUS Employee Wellness/Benefits.

3-6) “Manage Your Life” Series

After combing through data and comments from our 2013 Annual Wellness Survey, we were able to detect several themes.  Many of the themes revolved around management: Stress management, pain management, time management, and work/life/family balance. Therefore, we will be focusing a series of webinars on these common themes in our “Manage Your Life” series.  We appreciate you sharing with us, and we want you to know that we listen. Your voices help determine the programs and education MUS Wellness offers. Thank you.

  • Thursday, May 1st, 12:05pm Sitting is the New Smoking—Part 2 (Office Stretches and Behavioral Architecture)

A lot of stress management and pain management can be addressed through movement.  Most office environments aren’t very conducive to movement throughout the day, but we’ve got some ideas.  Tune in to this webinar for the latest in sedentary research and some practical office stretches and strategies to add more movement (and less pain and stress) to your day.
